The professional experience of Arkas Group and the know-how of Fratelli Cosulich S.p.a. have contributed to the success of ARKAS ITALIA during these first years of joint activity by allowing a speed growth of the corporate reality of the company which is expanding in the trade with great satisfaction. Thanks to this success, Italy has become for ARKAS Group a key country.

ARKAS ITALIA s.r.l. was established in Genova on 19th July 2007 by the Turkish companies ARKAS HOLDING and URSA MARIPORT INVEST, starting its activity of shipping agency in Italy. On 21st December 2010 a memorandum of understanding has been signed in Izmir by Arkas Denizcilik ve Nakliyat AS and Fratelli Cosulich S.p.a. who became the shareholders of the company. The aim of this partnership was to business develop ARKAS ITALIA shipping activities with a view to open new liner services from the Italian Ports calling new Mediterranean destinations. After the settlement in Genova and Naples with owned offices and sub-agencies in Leghorn and Koper (Slovenjia), ARKAS ITALIA has opened a new branch in Venice aiming to extend their presence in the national market and following the streghtening of Adriatic Service by Arkas Line.
